Visitors to Lachlan Shire Council’s website will see a new modern design in line with Council’s new branding, and notice a faster, easier and more user-friendly online experience.

The new website launched today is the central source of information and self-service digital front door to Council’s business.

Lachlan Shire Council’s General Manager Greg Tory said, “It was imperative to make the website as user-friendly as possible, so navigating for essential services like paying a bill, finding out about career opportunities, or checking road conditions can be completed with ease and simplicity. We have received a lot of community feedback over the years that Council’s website was in need of some upgrades, and we are confident that the new site will better meet customer needs.”

Some key features of the new website include:

  • Easy-to-navigate drop-down menus
  • Latest news section
  • Upcoming event calendar
  • Increased accessibility for people with vision impairment and other disabilities

The website will improve customer experience and help us resolve enquiries faster by providing timely and accurate information and advice on demand.

You can check out the new website on your computer, smartphone, or tablet by visiting www.lachlan.nsw.gov.au

“The website is ever evolving and Council encourages everyone to take a look and tell us what you think, Mr Tory added.
