NEXT ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL
The next Ordinary Meeting of Lachlan Shire Council will be held on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 in the Condobolin Council Chambers commencing at 2:00pm.
FESTIVE SEASON EVENTS
Lake Cargelligo: The Rotary Christmas Carnival will be held at Liberty Park on Saturday, 6 December 2025.
Tullibigeal: Tullibigeal swimming pool will host a Christmas Tree event at the park on Friday, 12 December 2025.
Tottenham: Tottenham Community Christmas Tree will be held in Memorial Park on Sunday, 14 December 2025.
Condobolin: Condobolin Rotary Christmas Carnival will be held in Memorial Park on Sunday 14 December 2025. Followed by Carols by Candlelight held in Renown Park.
HOLIDAY CLOSURE
Lachlan Shire Council offices and Service NSW Agency will be closed from 12:00 noon Tuesday, 23 December 2025, and reopen at 8:30am Monday, 5 January 2026.

ROADS UPDATE
Flood damage restoration:
Contractors and Council crews are completing final flood restoration works across Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Tullibigeal, Fifield and Albert.
Gravel Re-sheeting:
Works are currently being carried out on Albert Road, with future work scheduled for Lansdale Road.
Construction Works:
Road widening and reconstruction works are progressing on Pillinger Drive, Yelkin Road, Springvale Road and Platina Road.
Urban street reconstruction work is underway in Condobolin on McDonnell Street, Lachlan Street and Denison Street, with completion expected by 13 December 2025. Work will be completed in stages to minimise disruption.
PROJECT UPDATE
Lake Cargelligo Airport Runway Lighting Upgrade
Upgrades to the runway lighting system at Lake Cargelligo Airport are scheduled to begin early next year.
Lake Cargelligo Road upgrade near Nilssons Lane
Work to raise Lake Cargelligo Road near Nilssons Lane are expected to commence at the beginning of next year.
WATER AND SEWER UPDATE
Condobolin Water Treatment Plant – The new chlorine system is now expected to arrive in early January 2026 with the system cutover planned for cooler weather.
Condobolin Borefields II Scheme – Civil and mechanical works are progressing and nearing completion. The final power supply connection is scheduled for after February 2026.
