Rates instalment two is due on 30/11/25 and Water bills are due on 15/12/25. If you have difficulty paying your rates or water accounts, please contact our Revenue team to discuss payment options.

NEXT ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL
The next Ordinary Meeting of Lachlan Shire Council will be held on Wednesday, 26 November 2025 in the Condobolin Council Chambers commencing at 2:00pm.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE
Lachlan Shire Council offices and Service NSW Agency will be closed from 12:00 noon Tuesday, 23 December 2025, and reopen at 8:30am Monday, 5 January 2026.

ENVIRONMENTAL NEWS
Residents are reminded to maintain their yards to help reduce fire hazards and pests. Overgrown vegetation can attract snakes, mosquitoes and vermin, regular mowing helps keep our towns safe a tidy. Council thanks the many residents already doing their part.

ROADS UPDATE
Flood damage restoration:

Contractors and Council crews are completing final flood restoration works across Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Tullibigeal, Fifield and Albert. Heavy patching works will be undertaken shortly in Lachlan street Condobolin.

Gravel Re-sheeting:

Works are currently being carried out on Albert Road and Moira Vale Road.

Construction Works:

Work is now complete on Lake Cargelligo Tip Road and with new works now underway on Pillinger Drive, Yelkin Road and Springvale Road.

PROJECT UPDATE
Lake Cargelligo Recreational Ground Scoreboard Upgrade

Work has been completed on the new electronic scoreboard at Lake Cargelligo Recreational Ground, providing an excellent facility for local sporting groups.

Lake Cargelligo Airport Runway Lighting Upgrade

A runway lighting upgrade at Lake Cargelligo Airport will commence next year to enhance and improve safety for local and visiting aircraft. 

WATER & SEWER REMINDERS
Repair leaks

Residents are encouraged to check for leaks, report or repair them promptly to conserve water and avoid costly bills.

Prevent blockages
 Please only flush toilet paper down the toilet and avoid pouring fats or oils down drains to help protect our sewer system.
