Round 1 of Council’s Donation and Event Support Funding is now open. This round will close on 15 April at 4pm, with applicants being notified of outcomes at the end of May 2026.

The third rates instalment for this year was due on 28 February.

If you have difficulty paying your rates or water accounts, please contact our Revenue team to discuss payment options.

ROADS UPDATE

Planned for March –

Heavy Patching, Re-Sheeting and Grade, Water and Roll (GWR)

  • Nyngan Road, Weja Road, Merribogie Road, Moira Vale Road, Myamley Road, Tottenham Town Street

Road and Culvert Reconstruction on the Following Roads

  • Bimbella Road, Glenderry Road – Culvert Replacement
  • Bobadah Road Henry Parkes Way (2km) – Reconstruction
  • Melrose Street (between Bathurst Street and Molong Street)

PROJECT UPDATES

Memorial Park flood recovery

Designs and procurement to complete and contractors engaged.

SRA Flood Recovery

Designs and procurement continuing with electrical infrastructure. Procurement complete for Netball Courts surface renewal.

Update to the Active Transport Plan (ATP)

Finalising ATP for adoption at Council’s March Meeting.

Regional Drought Resilience Plan

Implementation of plans when possible as resources become available.

WATER & SEWER UPDATE

Condobolin Water Treatment Plant

Electrical installations of the new system are currently underway. Minor civil works to have the system connected to the existing water treatment plant are progressing.

Condobolin Borefields II Scheme

The final power supply connection was scheduled at the end of February 2026. Once power is connected, testing and pre-commissioning of the overall scheme will slowly start.

Tottenham Effluent Disposal System

The construction of the new effluent dam is underway. The design for the pipeline is currently being finalised.

Lake Cargelligo STP Sewer Lagoons

Geotechnical and survey works for the new lagoons have been completed.

PROJECT UPDATE

Lake Cargelligo Airport Runway Lighting Upgrade

Upgrades to the runway lighting system at Lake Cargelligo Airport are scheduled to begin in April.

Lake Cargelligo Road upgrade near Nilssons Lane

Work to raise Lake Cargelligo Road near Nilssons Lane is expected to commence in the second week of February.

ROADS UPDATE

Flood Damage Restoration

Flood restoration works on unsealed roads have now been completed, with a small number of works remaining to be completed by contractors.

Gravel Re-sheeting

Gravel re-sheeting works have been completed on Albert Road and Moira Vale Road.

Construction Works

Road widening and reconstruction works have been completed on Pillinger Drive, Yelkin Road and Springvale Road.

WATER & SEWER UPDATE

Condobolin Water Treatment Plant

The new chlorine system has arrived with the system cutover planned once the weather cools down.

Condobolin Borefields II Scheme

Civil and mechanical works are completed. The final power supply connection is scheduled by the end of February 2026.

Lachlan St SPS Upgrade

The upgrade of Lachlan St SPS is completed with the new refurbished and upgraded sewage pump station is now operational.

Tottenham Effluent Disposal System

The effluent dam construction has started, and the overall project is expected to be completed in 4-5 months (weather permitting).

  • Lake Cargelligo - Level 1
  • Tottenham - Level 4
  • Albert - Level 4
  • Tullibigeal - Level 1 
  • Burcher - Level 6 
  • Fifield - Level 6
