PROJECTS UPDATES

Memorial Park Flood Resilience and Betterment

Coming up in July, concreting foundation works commence for the Toilet Block, Installation of play equipment to commence, installation underway for accessible BBQ Shelter within the play equipment area.

SRA Flood Recovery

Netball Courts surface renewal works to be complete. Substandard electrical infrastructure design works complete.

Condobolin Primary School Signage and line marking

Relocation of school signage and line marking to be completed.

ROADS UPDATES

Grading and storm damage repairs have been completed on several sealed and unsealed roads around the Shire in June, as well as slashing and vegetation control.

Works planned for July

  • Henry Parks Way shoulders
  • Fairs Road – re-sheeting
  • North Forbes Road – grade, water & roll

WATER AND SEWER UPDATES

Condobolin Bore Fields II

The commissioning of the new chlorine system at the existing Condobolin WTP has been completed. The old chlorine system will now be decommissioned.

Sewage Effluent Reuse Management System (Lake Cargelligo, Condobolin & Tottenham)

This project has been commissioned successfully, and the system is now operational.

Sewer Rehabilitation and Investigation

The sewage backflow incident in Tottenham has been addressed by the Contractor. The outcome of the incident is satisfactorily to both the property owner and resident. The cleaning stage of the targeted sewer mains around the shire has been completed.
