Lachlan Shire Council is pleased to announce its involvement in the 2026 Waste 2 Art community art exhibition and competition. Waste 2 Art is a free waste inspired art competition and exhibition with a category for every member of the community from pre-school through to aspiring and professional artists.

Each year there is a specific waste stream  featured in the Waste 2 Art competition. The theme for this year's exhibition is ‘Shrink Your Footprint’, with focus on minimising your waste footprint, and entrants will need to package their artworks into a shoe or boot box for transport.
