Lachlan Shire Council Encourages Applications for Local Heritage Fund Grants

Lachlan Shire Council is inviting property owners of heritage buildings and places to apply for funding through its Local Heritage Fund, which supports the conservation, restoration and preservation of heritage items throughout the Shire.

The Local Heritage Fund aims to assist projects that maintain, preserve or restore features that contribute to the heritage significance of local buildings and places. Funding is available on a dollar-for-dollar basis, providing valuable assistance to applicants undertaking eligible heritage works.

Applications must include quotations for the proposed works and close at 5.00pm on Monday, 27 October 2026.

Successful applicants are expected to be announced at the end of November 2026 and will have until April 2027 to complete approved works.
