Lachlan Shire Council has embarked on a program of works to expand and enhance the footpath network to deliver improved pedestrian safety and encourage more people to be more active, more often.

Construction has commenced, and the planned works include:

  • Condobolin - Diggers Avenue (The River Walk), Gum Bend Lake, and parts of Bathurst, Orange, McDonnell and William Streets.
  • Lake Cargelligo - Rotary Park to Frogs Hollow and of course the Foster Street upgrade works are ongoing.
  • Tottenham - footpath repairs.

Council asks residents to please keep a safe distance from the worksites, be mindful of the workers, exercise caution when walking near these sites and for your own safety, please do not enter the work areas.

Contractors and Council workers will liaise with property owners directly impacted by the works to minimise disruption to their properties.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the completion of this program.

For all enquiries in relation to these works please contact Council's Infrastructure Services Department on 02 6895 1900.
