Water Restrictions Policy

Lachlan Shire Council has a responsibility and commitment towards ensuring that our communities have continual access to adequate quantities of water. Extended dry weather conditions, operational issues, and/or community consumption rates can place stress on Lachlan Shire’s water supply systems.

To manage this, water restrictions have previously been introduced whenever the demand for water exceeds the experienced or anticipated amount of supply.
