Lake Cargelligo Carp Competition

It's time to pull out your rods, dust off your chairs, and dice up the cheese!

Our Carp Catching Comp is on again on Friday, 26 April and Saturday, 27 April 2024!

Fish the Lake, and/or the Lachlan River in/around Lake Cargelligo, clear the waters of carp, and win some amazing prizes.

Teams of up to 5 people can be entered into the Comp with a flat registration fee of $20 per team. Registration is to take place upon delivery of each teams' first catch. Payment may be made by cash or card.

All carp must be brought to the Lake Cargelligo Boat Shed to be weighed, measured, and disposed of. No carp are to be left on the banks, or released back into the river/lake.

Carp deliveries will be accepted from 8:00am to 6:00pm Friday, and 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday. Following the final delivery, a BBQ and presentation will be held at the Lake Cargelligo Boat Shed.

All competitors must abide by NSW Fisheries' rules and regulations. Fishing licences are required, and will need to be shown, unless exempt. Any questions, please pop us a message, or call the office on 02 6895 3301.
