Children Services

Lachlan Children’s Services is a not-for-profit organisation which operates as part of the Lachlan Shire Council.

Lachlan Children’s Services provide three services within the Lachlan Shire: Mobile Child Care, Preschool and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC).

All staff at Lachlan Children’s Services work tirelessly in order to build strong, positive relationships within each community they visit.  These relationships convey mutual trust and open communication.

All staff are familiar with the Policy and Procedure Manual, the 2011 Law and Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. These documents assist staff in fostering competence, wellbeing and a safe and positive environment and make sure our service provides high quality care.

Early Years Learning Framework

Being, Becoming and Belonging

Being - being recognised the significances of the here and now.

Becoming - children’s identities, knowledge, understanding capacities, skill and relationships change during childhood.

Belonging - knowing where and to whom you belong.
