Condobolin Carp Competition

It's time to pull out your rods, dust off your chairs, and dice up the cheese!

Our Carp Catching Comp is on again on Friday, 19 April and Saturday, 20 April 2024!

Fish the Lachlan River in/around Condobolin, clear the river of carp, and win some amazing prizes.

Teams of up to 5 people can be entered into the Comp with a flat registration fee of $20 per team. Registration is to take place upon delivery of each teams' first catch. Payment may be made by cash or card.

All carp must be brought to the Condobolin LWRS office at 18 William Street to be weighed, measured, and disposed of.  No carp are to be left on the banks, or released back into the river.

Carp deliveries will be accepted from 8:00am to 6:00pm Friday, and 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday. Following the final delivery, a BBQ and presentation will be held at 18 William Street, Condobolin.

All competitors must abide by NSW Fisheries' rules and regulations.

Fishing licences are required, and will need to be shown, unless exempt.
