MONDAY MOVIES - CONDOBOLIN LIBRARY

The next Monday Movie will be held at the Condobolin Library on 18 March 2024  and 15 April 2024 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Free afternoon tea will be served and bookings are essential, so call the Library today 6895 2253.

WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

Waste Management Facilities across the Shire will no longer accept cash payments from 1 April 2024.

GUM BEND LAKE
From 11 March 2024 Gum Bend Lake will be closed to all motorised water craft as water levels are reduced in preparation for improvement work to commence.

ROADS UPDATE

Boona Road - widening from Maitland Street to end of narrow seal (18 km) due to commence.

Lansdale Road – Miamley Street to Racecourse Road – road reconstruction & widening continues with sealing due in coming weeks.

Molong St, Condobolin – Kerb & gutter replacement and pavement reconstruction is underway near the intersection of Denison Street.

Willis Lane –road sealing to occur week commencing 11 March 2024.

Albert Road – Upgrade from the Bogan Way to Albert Cemetery is underway.

Road resealing program – Council’s road resealing program will recommence after Easter with resealing programmed for 3.2 km of SR 230 Lachlan Valley Way, Kiacatoo; Holt Street in Lake Cargelligo; also Wattle and Currajong Streets in Tullibigeal.

PROJECT UPDATE

Scott Street Subdivision, Condobolin - Site works continuing watch for entering traffic.

Busby Street Footpath, Condobolin - Work umderway between William Street and Harding Avenue.

WATER & SEWER UPDATE

Lachlan Street, Condobolin – Sewer Pump Station Upgrade in progress with the walls lines and centre bank removed.

Leg of Mutton Dam -  Upgrade work in progress

Albert Reservoir – Preliminary earthworks have commenced.
