Council is seeking enthusiastic, friendly and energetic people with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to assist with the provision of Children's Services.
In this role you will assist with preparation and participation in age-appropriate activities that aim to promote and develop the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of children and provide positive interactions and an inclusive environment. You will be required to work in accordance with the requirements of the Children (Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations), National Quality Standard, Code of Ethics of Early Childhood Australia for Early Education and Care and Council’s policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will need:
· Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
· Current Working with Children Check
· Knowledge and Understanding of Early Years Learning Framework
· Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, colleagues and the community
· Competent user of personal computers and Microsoft applications (e.g. Word and Outlook)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Current First Aid and Anaphylaxis training
· Class C Drivers Licence
Hourly Rate: Grade 2 - $29.08 – (includes casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements)
