Home and Community Care
Lachlan Home and Community Care (HACC) Multiservice is a Home and Community Service outlet that provides multiple services to the community. This outlet provides services to the Lachlan Shire, Euabalong and Murrin Bridge community.
Some of the services offered by HACC Multi-Service Outlet include:
Social Support services - Social Support refers to assistance provided by a companion (paid worker or volunteer), either within the home environment or while accessing community services. This is primarily directed towards meeting the person’s need for social contact and/or accompaniment in order to participate in community life. The support is provided to them as an individual and helps them to participate in society. Social support includes friendly visits, helping with paperwork, taking them shopping, banking or to appointments, weekly local newspaper delivery, group activities etc.
Craft, Bingo, Puzzles, Cards & other games are held one a month on a rotation bases in Lake Cargelligo. Quoits are held twice a month at Lake Cargelligo.
Food services – These provide a range of food services including frozen meals and hot meals e.g. Meals on Wheels. This can be provided both in the home or in a community setting. An enormous range of frozen meals are available to cater for all tastes. Hot meals are delivered by volunteers six days per week in Condobolin and five days in Lake Cargelligo.
Home maintenance services - Home Maintenance refers to assistance with the maintenance and repair of a person’s home, garden or yard to keep their home in a safe and habitable condition. This includes minor dwelling repairs and maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, carpentry and painting, or replacing tap washers - as well as some more major dwelling repairs such as replacing guttering or other roof repairs. Home Maintenance also includes garden maintenance, such as lawn mowing and the removal of rubbish.
In Home Respite Service: Respite Care refers to assistance received by a carer from a substitute carer who provides supervision and assistance so the carer has relief from their care taking role. Respite is designed to be responsive to the needs of the carer. The service can be in the home or community connection-based. There is a small cost to the service user.

Lachlan Shire Council HACC Multi Service Outlet has
two offices.
The Lake Cargelligo office is at Community Health, at the back of the Lake Cargelligo Hospital, off Yelkin Street. This office is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
