ROAD CONDITION REPORT - 19/01/2022

Flooding events have caused numerous washouts and fallen trees. Damage has occurred in low lying areas and causeways. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution when travelling.

Road Closures (due to flooding):

• Burcher Road (SR 1145) - CLOSED from Fitzgerald Road (SR 106) to Lachlan Shire LGA boundary

• Grassmere Road (SR 90) – CLOSED

• Clargo Road ( SR 102) – CLOSED

• Foster Lane (SR 108) – CLOSED

• North Forbes Road (SR 85) - CLOSED to all vehicles due to water over the road approx. 12km east of Condobolin.

• Sims Road (SR 1032) – CLOSED

• Burgooney Road (SR 144) – CLOSED at Wyalong Road (MR 231) intersection.

Water over road – Passable with CAUTION:

• The Gipps Way (MR 57S) – Water over road approx.30 kms out from Condobolin to Euglo Trig Road (SR 110) intersection.

• Weir Road (SR 426) – water over road at causeways

• Burcher Road (SR 1145) –water over road at Sharpless Creek

• Crown Camp Road (SR 124) – water over road for approx. 6 kms

• North Uabba Road (SR 194) – water over road

• Lake Cargelligo Road (MR 7513) – water over road at Banar Swamp (between The Gipps Way and Clarries Lane). Vehicles under 4.5 tonne are advised to use extreme caution

• Curlew Road (SR 231) approx.10 kms from Lake Cargelligo Road turn off (MR 7513)

Please avoid walking or driving through flood waters, it may be deeper and faster flowing than anticipated and/or the road may have suffered extensive damage hidden beneath the water.
