Interruption to water supply - Lake Cargelligo North-East

The community is advised that there is a planned interruption to water supply that will impact north-east Lake Cargelligo to enable critical maintenance works ahead of the demolition of the old water treatment plant. Areas impacted include:

• Brooks Lane

• Dents Lane

• Parkinson Lane

• McInnes Street

• Glenmore Lane

• Townsend Street

• Uabba Street (between Canada & McInnes Streets)

• Murrin Bridge Community

• Bokhara Street (between Uabba & Yelkin Streets)

• Willandra Street (between Uabba & Yelkin Streets)

The interruption is scheduled to occur on Thursday 25 May 2023, between 7.00am and 3.00pm. Please refer to the map below for impacted area.

Residents and business owners are advised that there may be a complete loss of water supply to some areas.

Residents in the affected areas are requested to ensure they have ample water in reserve to cover their requirements during the supply interruption. 

Any residents that have a special water need should contact Council immediately on 02 6895 1900 for service arrangements to be made.
