Blue Waters - Lake Cargelligo's Annual Arts & Crafts Exhibition

‘Blue Waters’ - Lake Cargelligo’s beloved annual art, craft and quilt exhibition - is back this year with a new date and a new theme: Home - what is home to you? 

The exhibition will continue to be held in the Lake Cargelligo Memorial Hall however the date has moved to the June long weekend -  09 June 2023 - 12 June 2023. 

The inspiration for the theme was the quote “Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.

The categories for this year’s competition have been divided into Fine Art and Visual Art, Photography, In the Garden, Patchwork and Quilting, Textile Crafts (soft articles), Paper Craft, Hard Craft and two Junior Categories - Art and Craft and Junior Poetry. 

There are more than 60 sections for entrants in these categories including a range of new categories also, such as Digital Art.

Ms Picking advised that entry forms can be collected from Lake Cargelligo Newsagency or the Arts and Crafts Society of Lake Cargelligo’s Facebook page.

Entry fees and exhibits may be posted to Lake Cargelligo Arts & Crafts Society Inc., PO Box 9, Lake Cargelligo, left at the Lake Cargelligo Newsagency or emailed to lakecargelligo.artsandcrafts@gmail.com

Entries for the exhibition are due by 5pm 8 June 2023.
