Council is seeking an enthusiastic, result orientated and suitably qualified person to undertake the duties of Manager Environmental & Developmental Services. This position is a key member of the Environmental Services & Planning Department whose responsibility is to ensure that the Strategic Planning, Development Assessment & Land Use Planning, Environmental Health & Regulatory Control, Building Control and Waste Management functions of Council are effectively managed, continually reviewed and developed in accordance with community need. The successful applicant will be a team player who will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health, Building and/or Planning.

Salary – An appointment will be made within the salary range Grade 14 – Grade 15 paying $70,754.84 – $88,044.84 per year, dependant on qualifications, skills and experience. Further progression within Council’s Salary System is available dependent upon training and performance.
