About US
Lachlan Children's Services is a not for Profit organisation that provides a variety of care to children within the Lachlan and Cobar Shires. Lachlan Children's Services is sponsored by the Lachlan Shire Council and receives funding through Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
Our Services
Lachlan Family Day Care- Is an affordable fully Accredited Childcare service that is offered within a home like environment. We have several dedicated carers that will only be too happy to support your children.
Lachlan Family Day Care caregivers are self-employed childcare professionals. All Family Day Care caregivers are registered with the scheme and are carefully selected and screened to care for children.
All caregivers registered with the Scheme are required to comply with the Children's Services Regulations 2004, Lachlan Children's Services Policies and Best Practice Manual and have a commitment to the Quality Practice Guide developed by the National Childcare Accreditation Council. In doing this, Family Day Care ensures all children in care are provided with stimulating, positive experiences and interactions that cater for their development.
Care is available for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years of age. 7 Days per week (depending on individual Carers).
Lachlan Mobile Service- Is a licensed travelling Child care Service that provides care for children aged 6weeks to school age. The care is offered to all families who live in rural and remote areas within Tullibigeal, Euabalong West, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, and Murrinbridge and surrounding areas.
The Staff are highly experienced and plan a developmentally appropriate program for all children attending the service. Meals are provided at Condobolin and Murrin bridge.
The Service operates ; Monday- Tullibigeal- 9am-3pm
Tuesday- Euabalong West- 9am-3pm
Wednesday- Condobolin- 9am-3pm
Thursday- Lake Cargelligo- 9am-3pm
Friday- Murrinbridge- 9am-3pm.
Kids Bizz Outside School Hours Care- Is a service that provides care for children school aged up to 12 years. The program is designed to promote social development and support the children in building positive relationships amongst their peers. During School terms children participate in the "active After Schools Program" which is designed to assist children to become more active and avoid obesity. In Terms 1 and 4 children attend the Swimming Pool and terms 3 and 4 they attend the Willow Bend Gym. A comprehensive physical Program is used to support each child's level.
The service operates during School Holidays (Vacation care) and after school during school term (After School Care). Bookings are essential. Hours of service are 3-6pm after school and School Holidays 830am-6pm.
